- Use a screwdriver to remove the push button doorbell from its bracket.

- Use a coin or screwdriver to turn the battery cover about 60-degrees counterclockwise.
- Open the battery cover and replace the CR2032 battery inside.

- Once the doorbell works, return the battery cover and turn the screw about 60-degrees clockwise to screw and secure it.
- Return the doorbell to its bracket.

How Do Battery-Operated Doorbells Work?
Battery-operated doorbells work by gathering the recommended amount of power per use from the equipped batteries. These doorbells can work either wired or wireless, but the results from pushing the button on the transmitter should alert the receiving unit to make a sound or notification.
For instance, a chime-style battery-operated doorbell can have these mechanisms:
- Pressing the chime button on the transmitting module completes the circuit.
- An electromagnet activates from within the doorbell, pulling a piston or metal cylinder to compress a spring.
